Sailor Jupiter is unique.  Between her height, her strength, and her power as a Senshi, it's sometimes hard to think of her as gentle.  Being ruled by the planet Jupiter, Kino Makoto (Makoto Kino here in the US--in Japan, the last name goes first) is hardworking, generous, and honest.  For some reason she lives alone (which is illegal for her age in Japan unless there are certain unusual circumstances) and she loves to cook, clean and do anything feminine.  She's very gentle and extremely loyal.  She also seems to have bad luck in love, as throughout the season she never has a boyfriend but is always reminiscing about her past loves.

The original Sailor Senshi, Sailor Venus!  It's true--she started out as Sailor V before Usagi even got her power.  The Soldier of Love is, ironically, cursed to not find love.  In the manga, a youma put this on her.  In the anime, we don't know why, she just doesn't.  She has big dreams of becoming an idol and is practically Usagi's twin in personality.  At first, Minako is quiet and distant, but opens up and actually, near the end of the series, becomes less serious than Usagi, while Usagi matures.
